Observations :  
1: The more I see promo shots of Terminator models from T4: Salvation, the more Im convinced that someone in the design department has been spending a little too much time playing Warhammer 40K.

2: This looks mighty interesting.
Alien Nation redux, so to speak.

3: Um...No...thats about it really.

We were skeptical about District 9 being a rehash of Alien Nation (you know, the movie about the real aliens from outer space being shipwrecked in L.A.), but then we saw the trailer below and you can consider us excited now!

How much time is too much playing WH40K?

I just watched the short film that the Movie is based on, By the same director, and I'm even more eager to see the movie now.


As for 40K... In this case, too much time is perhaps about the stage where you change your killer robots from Shiny and chrome to rusted and clanking. :)

Although I think that we'll get both in T4.

Neil Blomkampf is pretty talented and you should try to track down all of his shorts because they're great. That said, transitioning to a feature can be problematic; pacing and audience changes and some guys fuck it up. I think it will be pretty good - it's not going to open on a lot of screens and will most likely be one of those sleeper classics that slowly and continually gain accolades.
